Several Recalls Issued By The FDA For Dry Dog Food

Some potentially bad news for all the dog lovers out there, the FDA has made a major announcement that several popular brands of dog food have been recalled due to dangerously high levels of vitamin D being found in the products.

Toxic levels of vitamin D is a serious health problem and is considered an emergency. Toxicity from vitamin D can lead to a variety of problems that can be deadly, such as bloody vomiting, seizures, and even potential kidney failure. (1, 2, 3)

Vomiting
Increased thirst
Increased urination
Constipation
